A ConvoPlate was passed to a group of students at Western University in support of the Austen Berlet Campout for Mental Health. This campout, hosted anually at Victoria Park in London, Ontario, is in support of Austen Berlet, a student at Western who lost his life to suicide in 2009. All funds raised go towards CMHA Middlesex Crisis Support Centre services, and counselling services at Western University.

The Paul Hansell Foundation hosted its first major fundraising event: Mental Health From Under the Mask, featuring keynote speakers Clint and Joanie Malarchuk.  The sold out night was in support of the mobilization of the ConvoPlate initiative. Special thanks to our ten ConvoStarters: Mohawk College, Great-West Life, Steer Risk Solutions, TERRA, Dana Industries, The Central Group, D&D Leasing, Investor.com, Tin Cup Grill, and Bill Gosling Outsourcing, who helped make the event happen. It truly was a night for the books!

These are just a few of the many wonderful memories we will remember from 2018. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you to everyone who has and continues to take part in the ConvoPlate initiative. Your efforts to support mental health and make it part of our everyday conversation is truly admirable. We anticipate that 2019 will be even better!
